Each person has an individual sensitivity to odors. Someone is sensitive to a barely perceptible aroma, while someone does not even distinguish obvious smells. The acuity of smell depends on the general condition of the body and age-related changes.

Instructions

Step 1

Follow the rules to protect your nose from a young age. Strengthen the muscles of the nasopharynx and mouth. Read aloud more often, while pronouncing the words loudly, clearly and distinctly.

Step 2

Place your hands on either the back of your neck or your upper abdomen. Close your mouth and breathe in and out slowly through your nose. Repeat five to six times.

Step 3

Ventilate the room more often. Do wet cleaning, dust off. Try to walk longer, preferably in forested areas or parks.

Step 4

When working with aerosols, paints, varnishes, etc. be sure to use a respirator or gauze bandage.

Step 5

Every morning, preferably before breakfast, take a few minutes to do the breathing exercise suggested by Professor B. V. Shevrygin. Create a calm atmosphere in the room, you should not be distracted by anything. Sit up straight, bring your toes and heels together, and breathe freely. Exhale fully, then use the thumbs of both hands to pinch the outer ear canals, and with the middle fingers, press the wings of the nose. Then, draw in air sharply through your mouth, purse your lips, and puff out your cheeks.

Step 6

Lower your chin to your chest and gently place your index fingers on your eyelids. Close your eyes and relax. Stay in this position for as long as possible.

Step 7

Raise your head, remove your fingers from the eyelids and from the wings of the nose. Then exhale deeply through your nose, take your hands away from your ears and lower them along your body.

Step 8

Stop smoking and alcohol to better distinguish between odors. It is worth changing jobs if it is associated with harmful chemicals that negatively affect the organs of smell.
