Those who often visit museums know how important the environment that surrounds the exhibits is. The same applies to theatrical performances, where the action takes place against a certain, premeditated and prepared background. The elements of the setting surrounding the central object around which the main events unfold are usually called entourage.
Entourage in theater and cinema
Translated from French, the term "entourage" literally means "setting, environment, environment." This is usually called the conditions of any activity, the features of the place where events unfold. A typical example of entourage is artificial scenery in a film studio or on a theater stage. Skillfully and tastefully selected surroundings bring to the action a special atmosphere corresponding to the unfolding action.
Designers, architects, artists and decorators can create truly impressive surroundings. It is these people who have to bring the director's ideas to life, implement his ideas, and sometimes even combine conflicting requirements for the situation. The work of the artist, who forms the entourage of the theatrical production, is highly appreciated, since the success of the future performance largely depends on its quality.
Architectural entourage
The term "entourage" directly refers to graphics used for visual design of architectural projects. This is usually called images on perspective projections of the future object. In this regard, the natural background that surrounds the architectural complex becomes the entourage: a green lawn, trees, neighboring buildings and structures. Entourage can be made in a flat and three-dimensional form.
The elements that make up the structure of the architectural entourage become a kind of indication of the scale of the future structure and, in essence, are models of the environment in which the object is included. The graphic representation of the situation allows you to visually imagine how organically the building will look in such an entourage. Evaluating the environment included in such a model, it is easier for an architect to assess the advantages and disadvantages of the project, as well as to make changes in its style.
Entourage in game reality
In modern RPGs, there is also room for entourage work. Game masters who are part of the computer strategy development team spend a lot of time thinking over and drawing the details of the setting in which the game will unfold. Knowledge of the features of the historical era or technological reality corresponding to the scenario helps to create a fascinating atmosphere.
Sequentially passing through the stages of a computer game, its participants are able to completely immerse themselves in a fictional reality. This is not least achieved through the creation of a unique setting. Setting details, supporting characters, quirky elements of the game environment - all this creates a sense of presence for the players. Experts in the field of computer games believe that the specialists in the creation of entourage do as much for their projects as the scriptwriters and developers of game missions.
