Romance is often closely associated with images such as the sea, knots on salted ship ropes and wind-filled sails. What is a real sea knot, and how, for example, can you tie a straight or flat knot?
Necessary
Two short or one long rope
Instructions
Step 1
Tying with the help of a dried vein of an animal, a leather belt, a twisted hair rope is undoubtedly the most ancient way of connecting, fastening something. The invention of knots has a very long tradition, and their use is relevant in our technological age. In everyday life, when it becomes necessary to tie something, one or another knot is used. Try one of the most common knots, called straight knots.
Step 2
Take the ends of the ropes in your hands and twist them, making a half-knot. But now it will depend on how you perform the second semi-knot, completing the cycle, whether you will get a reliable classic "straight" knot or you will get a "oblique" one. The "wrong" straight line in the common people is also called "woman's", although this is also a knot used in certain cases.
Step 3
To get exactly the "straight" knot, it is necessary, when performing the second half-knot, to direct the running ends of the rope so that they are both lying under the loop of the other end (rope). In this case, you just need to choose which of the two ends will go over the top and which will go down when weaving. Defined - and tighten. The resulting knot holds well, and is rather difficult to untie, not to mention the possibility of arbitrary untiing.
Step 4
Sailors, working with thick ropes and cables, knot knots, passing, like a shuttle, the running end into loops, bending around the root end or both at once. To tie a straight knot, a loop is folded from one end of the rope. Then the running end of the second cable is wound into this loop, passed to the point of its closure, brought out to the opposite side and wrapped around the running and root ends. At the end, it is wound up again into the loop and turns out to be equally out of the loop with its root.
