They say: "Do not excuse yourself from prison and money!" It doesn't matter what the reasons prompted a person to break the law - the trial of compulsion is a terrible punishment. However, freedom becomes much more terrible than the difficulties in imprisonment in the context of society's rejection of the former prisoner, obstacles in employment, etc. Returning back to the government house is the main task of a person who has been released. The task is quite feasible, if you approach it correctly.
Necessary
- - the passport
- - certificate of exemption
- - certificate of income for labor activity from places of deprivation of liberty
- - birth certificate of children
Instructions
Step 1
When you go free, you need to know your rights. According to article 173 of the Criminal Executive Code of the Russian Federation, upon release, the prisoner is handed over all the documents in the personal file: passport, work book, pension certificate. In the absence of documents, the administration of the correctional institution takes measures in advance to obtain them. The necessary financial resources are sought from the personal account of the convict (where the payment for labor activity in the places of serving the term and other income was charged) or from the state treasury.
Step 2
It's good if a person has somewhere to return. In the absence of housing, the state is obliged to provide suitable premises. Also, as social assistance measures, it is proposed: conducting interviews with a psychologist to prepare for life in freedom, paid travel to the place of residence, providing food for the trip (or money to buy food) and clothing for the season. In reality, however, everything turns out to be not so promising: the possibility of obtaining housing is provided in the order of the general queue (an exception is made for orphans and other beneficiaries), but you can wait for years. Way out: call your friends and acquaintances in advance about the provision of a room or apartment for rent on account of future salaries.
Step 3
Having decided on housing, you should start looking for work. To do this, you must contact the employment center at the place of registration with the following documents: passport, certificate of release, certificate of earnings for the last three months of employment in a correctional institution (for calculating unemployment benefits), certificate from the medical and social expert commission on the recommended types activities (if there are labor restrictions), birth certificates of children (if there are children), a court decision on withholding amounts as compensation for a crime (if any).
Step 4
It is also necessary to register with the district police department (in the event that the release was parole). The district officer will appoint the days on which it will be necessary to come to be noted. Failure to appear on the appointed date without a valid excuse may result in a return to the correctional facility.
Step 5
The years spent in captivity reshape a person's worldview according to a new template. Perhaps you will discover some new qualities and develop them. This will expand the scope of employment. If you feel confident in your own abilities, you can establish yourself in business - open your own company for the provision of repair services, for example.
Step 6
Don't worry about some people misunderstanding about your prison history. You will not please everyone, but you will definitely find close and loving people. As support, you can contact a psychologist at the same employment center. An experienced professional will help allay fears and doubts about your bright future. The main thing is to believe in yourself and learn to value freedom, so that you do not have to repeat what you have gone through.
