In the complex of measures for cultivating the land, plowing with the use of a plow accounts for almost half of the total volume of work. In turn, the quality of these works largely depends on how the plow is prepared and adjusted.

Instructions

Step 1

Begin the adjustment with the working parts of the tool. The main working element of the plow is the ploughshare, which accounts for more than half of the total plowing load. The ploughshare must be properly sharpened. Otherwise, its productivity can decrease by almost 20%, fuel consumption increases by 20%, and the depth of processing - by more than a third.

Step 2

The most important requirement for plowshares is that their blades must have hard-alloy weld deposits with a cutting edge of up to 1 mm, with a sharpening angle from 25 to 400. All plowshares must be of the same size. The permissible deviations in the length of the blade, the length of the backrest and the width are, respectively, 15, 10 and 5 mm. Make sure all bolt heads are flush or recessed to 1mm. At the junction of the blade and the share, the gap should not exceed a millimeter, and the blade itself should protrude more than 2 mm.

Step 3

It is very important that the blade and the share on the side of the field are in line. The permissible protrusion of the ploughshare behind the blade is no more than half a centimeter. It is not allowed that the housing stand protrudes beyond the field edge of the share and blade. The permissible gaps between the share and the stand and between the blade and the stand are 3 and 6 mm, respectively.

Step 4

Check the field boards on the plow, which should be level, with the back of them in the same plane with the edge of the share. The permissible deviation cannot exceed half a centimeter.

Step 5

Set the share blade parallel to the installation platform with a permissible rear part elevation of no more than a centimeter. The skew of the frame and the installation of bent beams are not allowed. All this disturbs the overall correct positioning of the plow body. You can check the correct installation of the shares by pulling the cord over the toes and heels of the front and rear bodies. The permissible deviation of socks and heels from the taut cord cannot exceed plus or minus
