The tomb of Pharaoh Cheops is recognized as the largest Egyptian pyramid. Its height is 146 m. It is estimated that more than 2.5 million monolithic stone blocks were required for its erection. It is curious that each of these blocks was equal to 2.5 tons! In addition, on top of the stone monoliths, the entire pyramid was faced with slabs polished to shine.
