The Egyptian pyramids are perhaps the only wonder of the world that has survived in its original form. There are many myths and legends about the Egyptian pyramids. Scientists are still struggling with the secrets and riddles of the first wonder of the world.
Instructions
Step 1
Scientists believe that the new pharaoh, who came to power, already during his lifetime began to build a posthumous tomb for himself - thousands of people worked on a new tomb for many years. For the erection of the future Egyptian pyramid, a special piece of land was chosen. When the site was chosen, thousands of Egyptians went to the mountains for the stone monolithic blocks. Since they did not have any equipment, they had to manually pull these blocks along the sand.
Step 2
When the required number of slabs was brought to the construction site, they were placed in specially installed ground grooves. Then the first blocks were covered with sand so that only their surfaces were visible. The next slabs were installed on the previous ones according to the same principle. And so on to the very top. When the pyramid was completely built, the sand was removed and granite slabs were installed throughout the entire area of the tomb.
Step 3
This is how the famous Egyptian pyramids were supposedly built. Why "presumably"? The fact is that it is too early to say whether modern mankind will be able to get to the bottom of the truth: how and why these tombs were built. It is curious that the secrets of the Egyptian pyramids divided scientists into two groups: while some researchers assure the society that the pyramids were built by the Egyptians, others argue that there was once a pre-Egyptian civilization ruled by some other mind.
Step 4
According to mythology, the Egyptian pyramids were erected as stone tombs for the gods-pharaohs who lived on Earth at that time. Building a pyramid that would resemble the ancient Egyptian is currently very problematic. The fact is that for its construction it will be necessary to create special equipment. According to modern ideas about the construction of pyramids, for their construction it was enough to attract ordinary strong people, because it is believed that the culture of Ancient Egypt was developed powerfully enough for its time. This allegedly made it possible to build a real wonder of the world. But not everything is so simple!
Step 5
Until now, scientists and researchers argue about exactly how the Egyptian pyramids were erected. Of course, few people will believe that the ancient people used a special technique for this, but it is not yet possible to be sure that a person could create this wonder of the world with his own hands. That is why the origin of the Egyptian pyramids is still shrouded in an aura of mystery, these stone tombs rush silently through the millennia, through entire eras, reliably guarding their secrets.
Step 6
The tomb of Pharaoh Cheops is recognized as the largest Egyptian pyramid. Its height is 146 m. It is estimated that more than 2.5 million monolithic stone blocks were required for its erection. It is curious that each of these blocks was equal to 2.5 tons! In addition, on top of the stone monoliths, the entire pyramid was faced with slabs polished to shine. Well, could ordinary human hands be able to do this without special devices? However, there is no other version yet.
