Step 1
Get registration at the apartment that is your property. To do this, take your passport and certificate of ownership and come to the passport office. There you will have to fill out an application for registration, after which they will put a stamp in your passport indicating the place and date of registration. Also, your data will be entered into the house book, which contains information about everyone registered in your apartment. Such registration will be considered permanent and unlimited.
Step 2
If you are renting a home, get written consent from all the landlords. Then, along with him and with your passport, come to the passport office and receive a paper confirming your temporary registration. Usually it is given to you for the duration of the lease. Together with a temporary one, you have the opportunity to keep a permanent residence permit in another place, if you have one. Similarly, registration should be made for those who live in a student residence. They should contact the commandant who is responsible for the execution of such papers. Such a residence permit is usually issued for the academic year and is extended if you move into the hostel again on the next year.
Step 3
Contact one of the special firms involved in registration. For an additional fee, they can simplify the procedure for obtaining documents for you. But be careful when communicating with them. You may come across scammers using fake stamps and invalid information in their work. You may also be held liable for the use of fake registrations.
Step 4
If you live in the Moscow region, apply for a local residence permit. It gives you the right for unlimited time on the territory of Moscow, and most employers will consider your candidacy on a par with those registered in Moscow.
