Residents of the Comedy Club comedy show took part in the filming of several full-length films. The first of the most famous were "The Best Film" and "The Best Film - 2".
The best movie
The Best Film is a 2007 Russian-made parody comedy. The film is a TNT product and was shot with the participation of Comedy Club residents. One of the leading actors - Garik Kharlamov - is also the producer of the film. Other members of the Comedy Club include Timur Batrudinov, Dmitry Khrustalev and Oleg Vereshchagin. The film itself can be called a parody of "Scary Movie" and "Very Epic Movie", also shot in the parody genre. After the first parody film, which collected more than 400 million rubles in the first days, the directors were inspired to create two more parts.
Best Movie - 2
The plot of the 2009 film is based on the idea of the film "Heat". Four friends - Sailor (Kharlamov), Major (Vereshchagin), Actor (Batrutdinov) and Dimati (Khrustalev) meet in Moscow after a long separation in order to celebrate Major's birthday. But the unexpected happens - Major is kidnapped and demanded for his release a solid ransom in the amount of 1 million euros. Realizing that Major needs to be saved, the friends go in search of money.
Throughout the film, viewers watch how careless friends are trying to find money. The actor is trying to earn money by participating in various TV shows - here you can see a parody of Malakhov + and Dom-2. The sailor goes to St. Petersburg, where alcoholics from Moscow are loved, in order to sell someone's apartment and buy out a friend (a direct reference to the films The Irony of Fate and The Irony of Fate -2). Throughout the film, the heroes find themselves in funny situations, and the plot constantly overlaps with other films. Among the objects of parodies used in "The Best Film - 2" are such famous Russian films as "Twelve", "Island", "We are from the Future" and others.
Despite the high box office receipts, "The Best Film -2" was severely criticized by both professionals and ordinary viewers. They criticized mainly for the lack of acting and the "toilet" humor of the Comedy Club members and other TNT actors.
Other films with Comedy Club residents
After the rather successful distribution of the film, other projects became interested in Comedy residents. The famous comedian Sergei Svetlakov appeared in New Year's "Fir Trees", appeared in the melodramatic thriller "Stone" by Vyacheslav Kaminsky. The actor also took part in such comedy films as "Jungle" and "Bitter".
Other residents also do not miss the opportunity to appear on wide screens: Pavel Volya, in addition to "The Best Film", played in the films "Bride at Any Cost" and "Office Romance - Our Time", and Alexander Revva starred in two roles at once in the comedy "Understudy ".
