It was hidden from the human eye after the Muslim invasion, and now, according to ancient legends, only people with an open soul and a pure heart can get there. In ancient times, this bracelet had a slightly different look. It was a weave of silk laces on the wrists of Buddhist monks, who called it "9 Scorpions". The process of creating this amulet was lengthy. Being in complete solitude for 3 days, the monks recited special mantras over the laces, then tied 9 knots on them. It was believed that it was these knots that were supposed to protect the owner of the amulet from misfortunes and various evil spirits. Even now, many Buddhist practitioners receive such nine-knot laces from their Masters.
Over time, Shambhala bracelets began to weave with the addition of bone beads with various ornaments and patterns, which were supposed to enhance the protective properties of the amulet. It should be noted that Indian shamans weaved special stones between the knots, symbolizing 9 heavenly bodies that affect the karma (fate) of a person, namely: ruby (Sun), pearls (Moon), coral (Mars), emerald (Mercury), diamond (Venus), yellow sapphire (Jupiter), blue sapphire (Saturn), hessonite and cat's eye (Rahu and Ketu are the intersection points of the Moon's orbit).
