As a rule, most sports shops provide a professional installation service for bindings. But if, for one reason or another, you do not want to resort to the help of specialists, you can try to install the ski mounts yourself.

Instructions
Step 1
Determine the center of gravity of the ski using a ruler. Make a mark with a pencil.
Step 2
Install the supplied jig so that the previously marked mark aligns with the corresponding mark on the jig. Mark the location of the mounting holes with an awl.
Step 3
Drill the holes with a drill. If you do not have special drills, use standard ones with a diameter of 3, 4 or 3, 6 mm, depending on the type of ski mount. The holes must be 10 mm deep. It should be noted that when drilling, the drill must be positioned strictly vertically. To do this, it is recommended to fix the drill with a clamp or simply hold it with your foot.
Step 4
Carefully pour the special adhesive into the drilled holes. This will provide the necessary waterproofing and increase the holding strength of the mount. If you do not provide waterproofing, then the liquid entering the cavity of the skis during their use can lead to the occurrence of decay processes and, as a result, the rapid destruction of the material. It should be noted that the use of epoxy resin is highly discouraged because it can damage individual parts of the structure, for example, the foam cores used in some ski models.
Step 5
Tighten the rotor screws. Snap on the plastic backing and tighten the fastening screws.
Step 6
Snap the mount cover. After that, you need to stick special stickers to protect the screws.
Step 7
Install the thrust bearing. In some models of skis, a special key is provided for fixing the thrust bearing, which is included in the bindings kit.
