What to buy in the village?

It is difficult to find real homemade milk in the city. There are a lot of different boxes, packages, milk bottles on the store windows. But it is either powder or very highly diluted with water. And it's more of a dairy product than milk. In the village, you can buy fresh milk directly from the cow. Such a product is both tastier and healthier. Also valuable are other products that the villagers prepare from milk - butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, yogurt.

Much tastier in the village and eggs. Those that the townspeople buy in the store are produced in poultry farms. There, chickens, as a rule, sit in cramped pens, they are fed with special additives so that they give more eggs. And village birds walk around the yard, eat green grass, collect worms. So they saturate their body with the necessary vitamins and minerals. And from this, the eggs in village chickens are larger, and the yolk is much brighter than those that are grown in poultry farms.

It is a sin not to buy meat in the village - pork, beef, lamb, poultry. Firstly, it is more profitable, since villagers sell it a little cheaper than dealers in the markets. And secondly, in the village there is an opportunity not only to buy fresh meat, but also to choose a lamb or a pig, which will be slaughtered and butchered especially for you. In addition, village meat, like all other products, is environmentally friendly, without harmful chemical additives.

Rustic vegetables, fruits and berries are also not inferior to shop counterparts. For example, in the summer it is good to stock up on strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, cherries. Your relatives will praise jam and compotes from them all year round. Fresh homemade cucumbers are much more aromatic, tomatoes are fleshy, and one or two potatoes can feed the whole family.

And in many villages there are apiaries. And there city dwellers stock up on fresh flower honey, as well as propolis and wax.

Are village products dangerous?

It's good if your own grandmother or other relatives live in the village. There is no doubt about the quality of their products. After all, it is unlikely that native people will begin to supply you with bad products. It is more difficult if the village milk and meat have to be bought from strangers. After all, who knows if there is E. coli or staphylococcus in home products.

Cows often suffer from brucellosis, tuberculosis, foot and mouth disease, tularemia. And milk from a cow suffering from mastitis should not be drunk even after boiling.

In this case, find one seller of dairy and meat products for yourself. And only buy from him. Look at the conditions in which the animals are kept, how they are looked after, what they are fed with. Do the owners use their own milk and meat for food? Do not be lazy at least once to bring food from the village for a paid examination. Ask friends-acquaintances who buys the village products, from whom they take them and if they like the quality, if there have been cases of poisoning.

Take country milk, meat, eggs from people in whom you are confident, and also subject food to a good heat treatment. Then you will not be afraid of any diseases transmitted through village products.
