In the city of Moscow, every year on June 1, the next swimming season opens. The city administration defines several zones near the reservoir for recreation. In 2014, there will be 41 such zones, of which 10 beaches, where swimming will be allowed. In the rest, you can only sunbathe.
Bathing places
All beaches that are open to tourists are equipped with special safety signs and information boards. The bottom in the places where they will swim is necessarily inspected by divers. During the summer season, Moscow beaches are open from 09:00 to 21:00.
Summer showers, paddling pools for small children, closed dressing rooms, playgrounds and sports grounds are installed on all beaches. There are cafes and bars with baby food and soft drinks. There are boat, sports equipment and catamarans rental points.
Official bathing places
One of the best beaches in Moscow is "Serebryany Bor-2", located on the street. Tamanskaya. The recreation area is great for families with children. There is a paid playground on the territory. Adults are invited to play volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, backgammon, checkers and billiards. You can rent sun loungers. The zone is equipped with dry closets, garbage containers.
But "Serebryany Bor-3" is more suitable for young people. There are playgrounds for active games - volleyball, frisbee, football. Tournaments in these sports are held almost every day. There are places to practice yoga.
A good beach is equipped on the sandy shore of the Khimki reservoir and is called "Levoberezhny". The big disadvantage of this recreation area is the Leningradskoe highway, which runs nearby. There are power lines nearby, which is not safe for bathers.
Some beaches have not yet been accepted into operation, as the administration of the recreation area has not provided documentation.
The beach complex with the unusual name "Beach Club" is considered an elite recreation area. It is also located at the Khimki reservoir. The territory consists of neat wooden paths, umbrellas, special coatings. There is also a hotel and summer tents built here. There is a children's pool. Although the beach is elite, admission is free.
Not far from Moscow is the village of Meshchersky with the lake of the same name, where people come to swim from all over Moscow. There is a special picnic area, you should only bring a barbecue and the necessary things and items.
On the street Ak. Vinogradova, 12, next to the metro station "Teply Stan" is the park "Troparevo" with a beach inside. Therefore, here you can not only swim, but also walk in the park.
