Step 1
Take a blank sheet of paper and stand on it with your bare foot, transferring all your weight onto the paper. It is better to take measurements in the evening, when the leg has already "spread". Carefully trace the foot with a pencil as close to the leg as possible. Now take the resulting drawing.
Step 2
First, measure the width of your foot. Do not be surprised, this parameter often becomes a critical factor if you buy tight shoes, or the model will have a fur lining. The fact is that not all shoes are designed for wide feet, and in the wrong shoes the foot will simply be uncomfortable. The width of the foot is measured at the widest point of the contour - most often, this is the place in the region of the two bones at the base of the big toe and little toe. Knowing the width of the foot, it is easy to try it on to your favorite narrow “boats”.
Step 3
The most important size is the length of the foot. Measure with a ruler or meter the distance from the extreme points: the longest toe and the tip of the heel

To find out by the resulting centimeters the size of the shoes that you will be looking for in the store, you need to divide the resulting result by 2 and add the original one. For example, you have found that the foot length is 23 cm.
24:2 = 12.
12 + 24 = 36. So you have 36th foot size.
If, when dividing, fractional numbers are obtained, it means that you have an intermediate size, and of course, you should be equal to a large value when choosing shoes.
Step 5
Please remember that you have just received your standard Russian foot size. Since the systems of measures are not the same in different countries, it makes sense to check the conversion tables from European and American sizes to Russian before buying, to know for sure. These tables can be found in most shoe stores.
