It is necessary

  • - flannel or any other soft material
  • - paste GOI
  • - polishing wheel
  • - industrial oil (spindle)

Instructions

Step 1

The main rule when working with goi paste is not to apply it directly to the surface to be treated. This is fraught with accelerated destruction of the protective layer formed as a result of polishing, which entails the loss of the external attractiveness of the product and the requirement for its re-processing.

Step 2

Goi paste should be applied to flannel or any other soft, absorbent material. In addition to the cloth, there should be a small piece of metal at hand, with the help of which the polishing paste is rubbed, thereby crushing large particles that can scratch the surface.

Step 3

You can also use this method of softening the paste: dip the flannel in technical gasoline (for example, in the one used to fill lighters) and only then rub it with a polishing agent. This method is more effective, since gasoline will quickly dissolve the chromium oxides found in the goy paste.

Step 4

For high-quality polishing of various products, you will need industrial oil, which is colloquially called "spindle". On the surface requiring treatment, you need to apply 1-2 drops of this liquid. It is able to enhance the gloss of the protective layer and make it more durable. Therefore, if there is a need for regular use of goyi paste, it is highly advisable to purchase all the agents recommended for polishing.

Step 5

The process of processing surfaces with a paste is very simple: you need to rub the product with flannel, periodically moistening it with a spindle. Hand movements should be smooth. You should not use force and put pressure on the object being processed. This will not give any effect, except for extra labor costs. In addition, if the goyi paste is poorly dissolved, its large particles, when pressed, will certainly leave unsightly marks on the surface of the product in the form of scratches. The work is completed after the desired gloss quality is achieved.

Step 6

The final stage of using goi paste is a thorough rinsing of the polished product in kerosene. If one is not available, you can use running water.

Step 7

Four types of goi pasta are produced, each of which has its own number. The most expensive remedy is paste # 4. It has a rather coarse structure, so it can be used to remove various scratches, including deep ones.

Step 8

Paste No. 3 is able to give the treated surface a matte sheen. This product is finer grained. The thinnest pastes are # 1 and # 2. They provide a quality gloss. They can be used to polish mobile phone screens, watches, glasses, jewelry, precious metal products and other products.
