It is this mystical property that explains the fact that psychics, esoterics and white magicians do not advise people to acquire antique mirrors that have a long (or even centuries-old) history. The fact is that the positive and negative energy that has been accumulating in such mirrors for years can easily leak out. A broken or even cracked mirror can be the reason for its leak. According to legend, a person who looks in such a mirror dooms himself to some vicissitudes of fate.
Why can't you look in broken mirrors?
Not a single sign associated with broken mirrors gives a positive answer to this question. It is believed that a broken mirror “splits” a person’s personality into parts: he sees his “broken” reflection - his energy “disintegrates” bit by bit. All this leads to the fact that a person's karma weakens, he becomes vulnerable, and various failures begin to pursue him. Apparently, it is this interpretation that is embedded in the widespread belief that a person who looks into a broken mirror will be haunted by misfortune and failure for seven years.
There is another explanation for this. The fact is that the mirror, having scattered into fragments, releases the energy accumulated over the years. Psychics explain this behavior of mirrors as follows: the energy that a broken (or shattered) mirror throws out on a person flies in invisible and small streams at a frantic speed throughout the rooms and throughout the room.
