Instructions
Step 1
Disconnect the washing machine from electricity, water and drainage before carrying out repair work to replace the bearing. Move it to a convenient distance from the wall, unscrew the screws and remove the back cover. You will also have to remove the top cover to access the drum. But before you get to it, unscrew the spring screws of the spring supports, remove the weight.
Step 2
Next, open the loading door of the drum, remove the sealing rubber. Pull out the washing tub from the top.
Step 3
Remove the drive belt, remove the cuff. You will see a bearing that is worn out and needs to be replaced. If you shake it, you will see a backlash, it was the culprit behind the loud grinding and howling during the spin, and also because of it, the drive belt constantly flew off, which you probably had to reinstall more than once, cutting off your hands because of the sharp edges of the case.
Step 4
Pull out the bearing, put in a new one. Reassemble the washing machine in reverse order. Install the collar first, place the tank, screw on the fastening spring supports. Tighten the belt, install the weight. Screw on the back and top covers, put on the sealing rubber. Install the washing machine in place using the mounting level. Connect to plumbing, sewerage and electricity.

All work on replacing the bearing, provided that you bought it in advance, takes no more than one and a half hours, but if you have never completely disassembled the washing machine yourself, it is better to contact the professionals from the service repair shop. What at first glance seems simple enough, a beginner can cause serious problems, and improper disassembly and assembly threatens to damage the machine.
