Instructions

Step 1

If you find a breakdown or other defects in a product purchased from a store, you have the right to return a defective product. But before that, be sure to read the legislative acts, which contain a list of goods that cannot be returned. These are, for example, toothbrushes, mouthpieces, cosmetics and others.

Step 2

Before proceeding with the paperwork for the return of goods, check whether you have used the non-food products correctly. Operating rules, as a rule, are prescribed in the documentation for the product. In accordance with the law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", you have the right to return products if they did not suit you in color, style and other organoleptic characteristics, within 14 days from the date of purchase.

Step 3

In other cases, that is, upon detection of a breakdown of the goods, you have the right to return the goods during the warranty period, which, as a rule, for food products, ranges from one to three years. Some stores offer to buy an additional warranty, which may last for one year.

Step 4

Make a claim. Address the application to the director of the store, enterprise. Indicate in the "header" of the document your passport data, including your registration address, phone number. In the body of the claim, enter the date of purchase of the product, the full name of the product. Write the date, month, year of the breakdown. Describe the nature of the defect in a substandard product.

Step 5

Next, write what you want to receive as a result of the consideration of the claim. This can be a replacement of the product with a similar one or a refund of the purchase price. Attach a product document, a warranty card, a receipt (cash register, sales receipt) to the claim and take it to the seller. On your copy, the seller puts a mark on the acceptance of the documents.

Step 6

If the seller refuses to accept a substandard product or claim from you, send the documentation by mail with acknowledgment of receipt. Your request must be fully satisfied within 10 days.

Step 7

Please note that for technically complex goods, an examination is assigned, which takes up to 45 days. Be sure to be present when checking. And if the seller refuses to do an examination, check it yourself. Take the check for payment of the examination, the results of the check and bring it to the seller. The funds spent must be refunded by the store where the product was purchased.

Step 8

If the seller refuses to accept low-quality goods, apply to the court with a statement. Attach the goods, claim, receipts for payment of goods, expertise to the claim. As a result of the litigation, the seller will be obliged to pay you the cost of the products, expertise, and penalties.
