According to the law on the protection of consumer rights and the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, goods of inadequate quality or with defects discovered after purchase can be returned to the seller. Step 1

Please provide written notice to return the item to the seller. Indicate the reason why you want to make an exchange or get back the money paid.

Step 2

You have the right to return to the seller not only a faulty or defective product, but also an absolutely high-quality item if you think that you do not need it or did not fit in color, size or other parameters. This can be done within 14 days from the date of purchase (Article No. 502 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, Article No. 25 of Law No. 2300-1). The seller is obliged to return the money to you within three working days from the date of your request.

Step 3

If the purchased product is defective or has any defects, the seller is obliged to conduct an examination at his own expense and find out the cause of the malfunction or defects. If the seller claims that the breakdown or malfunction occurred through your fault, and not through the fault of the supplier, seller or manufacturer, you have the right to contact independent experts and conduct an examination at your own expense.

Step 4

When contacting the seller, you will need to have the packaging in which you received the goods from the warehouse and the cash or sales receipt. If you no longer have the packaging, this is not a reason to deny you a high-quality product, a refund or exchange.

Step 5

Independent experts will draw up an act of checking the goods and will issue a verdict on the cause of the malfunction if you want to exchange the product, the defects of which were not noticed during the purchase.

Step 6

The seller has the right to offer you the repair of the item. For the entire period of the repair, you must be provided with similar products so that you can use it for its intended purpose.

Step 7

If you do not agree to carry out repairs and if the seller refuses to return the money to you, immediately change it for a similar serviceable product or for a more expensive improved model, apply to the arbitration court. All disputes between the seller and the buyer are resolved exclusively in court.

Step 8

Submit your statement of claim, an independent examination report, a photocopy of your notice, and a written response from the seller to the court. On the basis of a court order, the seller will be obliged to return the money to you and pay a penalty in the amount of 1/300 of the value of the goods for each overdue day from the date of notification.
