Severe frosts and an exhausting icy wind discourage the desire to go outside. If you are someone who has a hard time tolerating cold temperatures, prepare for the cold test in advance.
Instructions
Step 1
A tired and weakened organism cannot withstand the fight against frost. Therefore, the first thing to take care of in cold weather is adequate sleep and rest. Do not sit in front of the TV or monitor in the evening; for full recovery, you should sleep at least 8-9 hours a day.
Step 2
In the cold season, the human body spends about 1.5-2 times more energy than in summer. Severe frosts are not the time for a diet and fasting days. Make sure you include cereals, meats, vegetables and nuts in your winter diet. Eat classic oatmeal and butter sandwich for breakfast, these foods will provide you with the calorie supply you need and help you get through the hard journey to work or school. For drinks, give preference to hot tea and chocolate. In severe frost, do not get carried away with soda, and especially alcohol. Alcoholic drinks increase heat transfer somewhat, so after a glass of wine you will freeze much faster.
Step 3
Pay special attention to your clothing. It should be as practical and convenient as possible. You shouldn't put on "one hundred clothes". It is better to limit yourself to high-quality thermal underwear, a comfortable sweater made from natural materials, warm outerwear that well covers the neck and lower back. Be sure to wear heavy gloves or gloves and a hat. Additional protection from the piercing wind will be a hood draped over the hat. For feet that suffer from frost in the first place, wear warm woolen socks. Such equipment will completely save you from frostbite.
Step 4
If you are forced to be outside in cold weather for a long time, try this kind of warming exercise. Squeeze the hand tightly into a fist and hold it in this state for a few seconds. Then just relax your hands. The rush of blood that follows after muscle tension will warm your limbs. The main thing is not to stand still, vigorous activity in the form of walking or jumping in place will help you cope with even the most severe frost.
