When the puzzle is completely assembled, many do not know how to proceed with it, since almost everyone wants the assembled picture to please the eye for a long time. There are several ways to glue, fix and decorate the assembled puzzle.

Step 1
The easiest way is to turn the puzzle over after folding so that the wrong side is at the top and stick the base on it. However, if the puzzle is too large, it can be difficult to turn it over. In order to simplify this process, take care of gluing in advance - start assembling the puzzle on a mobile base, for example, on a sheet of plywood, fiberboard or thick cardboard.
Step 2
When the puzzle is complete, cover it with a second sturdy sheet of the same material and turn it over. Along the edges, the sheets can be fastened with clerical clips for reliability when turning over.
Step 3
If the puzzle was assembled on the floor, or is too large, use other gluing methods. Clean the surface of the assembled painting from dust and dirt, and then place plexiglass or plastic wrap under the puzzle.
Step 4
The surface of the puzzle can be pasted over with transparent wide tape, but it will look much better if you cover its surface with glue. PVA glue is good for these purposes - when it dries, it forms a transparent matte film. Apply a generous amount of glue to the face of the puzzle, and then spread it out with a sponge, brush, or trowel so that the glue fills in all the joints and gaps between the pieces.
Step 5
You can also use a special transparent puzzle glue. In order to make the gluing more reliable, after the glue dries, carefully turn the puzzle over to the wrong side and paste over it from the back side with cardboard, cloth, adhesive interlining or plywood.
Step 6
Never use varnish for gluing puzzles - it does not glue the parts and spoil their surface. If you want to emphasize the brightness of the colors of the puzzle, cover its surface with silicate stationery glue - it creates a transparent glossy film on the surface of the picture, making it brighter.
Step 7
For the final decoration, make or buy a frame that exactly fits your puzzle in size. Clamp the assembled painting between the back of the frame and the glass, and fix the frame tightly. The finished jigsaw puzzle decorated in a frame can be hung on the wall, and it will decorate your home or office.
