Step 1
Take regular sunflower oil and a coarse and fine-toothed comb. Lubricate the gum tangle with oil and begin to comb it out gently, first with large teeth, then with small ones. Add more oil if necessary. Usually, in this way, the gum is removed in just 5 minutes.
Step 2
Use kerosene if oil fails. Soak a cloth in it and start rubbing down the strand of hair. If you do not have kerosene, you do not need to go to the store for it, use regular nail polish remover instead. As a last resort, acetone or another solvent will do, but follow the elementary precautions that are written on the bottle with the product. Rinse your curls well under running water.
Step 3
If it freezes, the gum is also easily removed. But you don't need to stick your head in the freezer. Freeze several containers of ice and transfer to a bag. Place ice on both sides of the mug and hold for a few minutes. Then, with vigorous movements, begin to comb out the gum from the strand. True, this option is only suitable for owners of long hair, because applying cold directly to the head is highly discouraged.
Step 4
If a small part of the gum is not removed from the hair, then wait a little. Over time, it will wash out of the curls. Just lubricate this area with oil 10 minutes before washing your hair. Well, if you do not want to wait, then there is nothing left but to get a haircut.
