Chronic lack of time is most often due to either its irrational use or too many things to do. To learn how to carry out all your plans, you need to understand what you are doing wrong.
Instructions
Step 1
On the advice of the famous designer Jana Frank, which can be found in the diary book "365 days of a very creative person", write down on paper what you spend a day on. To do this, you do not need to choose a special day or prepare for this event. Just write down all your activities at intervals of 15-30 minutes. Write honestly, for example, “washing dishes - 15 minutes, talking on the phone - 30 minutes, socializing - 1 hour”, etc.
Step 2
Maintain this list for at least a couple of weeks. Gradually, you will be able to calculate how much time per day you are wasting. It does not include sleep, lunch break, walks with children and other obligatory things. But the items "looking at a fly on a window frame" or "3 hours at the TV" just fit into the category of wasted time.
Step 3
To fulfill all responsibilities, learn to plan them. Make a to-do list for today, tomorrow, the next week and month. If you start the day by completing the most difficult and obligatory item, you will live all the subsequent time until the end of the day without a “stone around your neck”. Alternate between large and small daily chores. Remember to take short breaks between them.
Step 4
Set aside at least half an hour a day to just walk. Even if you go to the store for bread or need to pick up a child from kindergarten, take the trouble to get out early. Well, if you are going to a theater or a cafe, even more so, do not run headlong. Walking is indispensable for recreating the lost peace of mind caused by endless time trouble.
Step 5
Try to wake up 1 hour earlier than usual for at least a week, and your persistent tardiness will gradually begin to disappear. If you already get up before dawn and still do not have time to do anything from your plans, perhaps you are taking too much on yourself. Learn to distribute responsibilities between colleagues and family, and you will feel that there is much more time in the day than you previously thought.
