Use a 10% solution of ammonia to clean a small silver item. Pour it into a container and dip the silver into it for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse with clean water and dry.

Clean your silver piece in warm soapy water. After that, apply a mixture of chalk and ammonia to it. When the garment is dry, wipe it with a dry woolen cloth. You can use regular tooth powder instead of chalk. It is advisable to carry out this procedure weekly.

Try cleaning silver cutlery with the following composition. Add eggshells to salt water and bring to a boil. Put clean devices in the solution for 15 seconds. Then rinse thoroughly and dry with a towel. For a liter of water, you need a tablespoon of salt and a shell from two chicken eggs.
Step 4
Silver cleans well in boiling salt water. You can also use cold saline solution, leaving the silver piece in it for several hours. You will need a teaspoon of salt and a glass of water.
Step 5
Boil a silver item in a citric acid solution for 15-30 minutes. To do this, take a liter container and pour half a liter of water into it. Add 100 g citric acid and place in a water bath. After boiling, rinse the silver with water and dry.
Step 6
Boiling water with the addition of soda is often used to make silverware shine. Scald products with this solution after each use. You can leave them in solution for 1-2 minutes, or even boil them for about 15 seconds. For half a liter of water, you need 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda. Sometimes, when boiling, a small sheet of aluminum food foil is placed on the bottom of the container.
