When sending a regular letter, you cannot be absolutely sure that it will be received by the addressee, and will not be lost on the way to it. If you would like to be aware that your message has been received, please send an acknowledgment letter.

It is necessary

  • - the envelope;
  • - the form of a receipt notification;
  • - a pen;
  • - money.

Instructions

Step 1

Make a copy of your documents before submitting them. This will be needed so that in case of loss of the letter, you do not have any problems with their recovery. As a rule, important documents are sent with acknowledgment letters, and the sender must be sure that the letter was delivered. After the addressee receives the letter, you will be sent a notification about this with a corresponding note.

Step 2

Visit the nearest branch of the Russian Post and send a certified letter with acknowledgment of receipt. To do this, fill out the envelope correctly. In its upper left corner, indicate your full name without abbreviations, then write the postal code and postal address. In the lower right corner, indicate the name of the recipient, his postal code and address.

Step 3

Ask the mail staff for a receipt receipt form and fill it out. You can find this form online, print it out and fill it out yourself at home. On the front side, in the "Notification type" section, check the box next to the "Simple" item. In the "Type of shipment" section, check the "Letter" and "Registered" items. Here, in the "To" and "Address" columns, indicate your full name and postal address to which the notification should be sent.

Step 4

Fill out the back of the notice. In the column "Type of departure" write "Certified letter with notification". Here you will also see the lines "Name of the addressee" and "Address". Indicate the full name of the recipient of your letter, his postal address and zip code. Leave the rest of the lines blank as they are filled in by employees of the Russian Post.

Step 5

Ask where is the registered mail window. Give your letter there and pay for it. Wait for the postal worker to give you a check. Do not throw it away, as it will be he who will confirm that you have sent a certified letter.
