It is possible to build a greenhouse not only for obtaining early vegetable products, but also for growing vegetables all year round. To do this, you just need to install the greenhouse correctly and install the heating system in it. You will receive fresh vegetables and herbs 3-4 times a year and you will forget what it is like to go to the market for them.
Necessary
- - rubble
- -sand
- -cement
- -Red brick
- -material for installing racks
- -cell honeycomb polycarbonate
- -pipes for water heating
Instructions
Step 1
To build a heated greenhouse, you need to choose a calm, well-lit place and attach it to the wall of the house.
Step 2
Build a shallow strip foundation. Make the depth of the foundation 50-70 centimeters. A greenhouse is not a heavy structure and such a depth will be enough for its installation.
Step 3
On top of the foundation, lay out a plinth of 3-4 rows of red moisture-resistant bricks.
Step 4
The frame for the construction of a winter heated greenhouse is best made of an arched type. Snow will not linger on it and snow drifts will not form. Make the frame itself from a durable material. For this, high-strength plastic or arcs made of thin pipes are suitable.
Step 5
With the advent of cellular polycarbonate on sale, the days of glazed greenhouses have gone far into the past. Well-made, high-quality polycarbonate withstands frosts up to 40 degrees, lasts a long time and is very reliable in use in the cold season.
Step 6
Remember to provide fanlight windows for hot weather.
Step 7
The heating system must be made water-based around the entire perimeter of the greenhouse, including the foundation, floor and ceiling. If you have built a large greenhouse, then run additional pipes in the middle of the greenhouse.
Step 8
Connect the heating itself from the home heating boiler. Depending on what type of heating you have in your house, this is how you will heat your greenhouse. Usually gas or electric heating is connected, but if the house is heated with solid fuel, this is also suitable for heating the greenhouse. Installing a separate heating system is not cost effective.
