The title page is the first page of any scientific work (abstract, term paper, thesis, etc.). This structural element of labor is the main source of bibliographic information. Its mandatory presence is due to the need to process and search the document by libraries.
What data should be contained in the title page
The title page must contain the name of the educational institution in which the job is defended, the name of the ministry that controls it, or the federal education agency. Also, the title of the department of the university where the scientific supervisor of the work works is indicated in the header of the document.
For theses, the next mark should be the stamp of admission to defense. Often it contains the phrase "Admitted to the defense", the signature of the head of the department and the date of admission.
Then the full title of the document is indicated, containing the type of work and topic. In addition, the text of the title page must necessarily contain the surname, name and patronymic of the author of the work in full. The specialty of training and the group of the student are also indicated.
After the information about the author, there should be information about the head of the work: full name, academic degree and academic title. The person in charge must sign.
At the bottom of the title page, indicate the year and city of the work.
When designing the title page, adhere to the style of the main text of the work. Traditionally, it is performed on A4 sheets (210x297 mm) white. The size of the margins should be as follows: left margin - 30 mm, top and bottom - 20 mm each, right - 15 mm. The text should be uniformly dense, contrasting and clear. The main font for the execution of the document is 14 Times New Roman. Highlighting the heading and title of the work is allowed using bold and capital letters. Italics and underlining must be excluded. The title page number is not indicated. Errors and graphic inaccuracies may be corrected by painting them with white paint and applying the corrected image in the same color as the main text.

There are slight differences in the graphic presentation of title pages from country to country and from school to institution. Therefore, before registering a work, you should clarify its features with your supervisor.
