Step 1

Go to the seller and show the unsuccessful purchase. If you are a regular customer in this store, tell them that you come here to shop every day and this situation is extremely unpleasant for you. As a rule, regular customers always meet halfway and return money or change goods even without a receipt. This technique works especially well with “spectators”. If there are a lot of people in the store, then the sellers, not wanting to earn a bad reputation for their outlet, immediately apologize, say that a misunderstanding has happened, which will not happen again, and solve your problem.

If the seller does not want to talk to you and take back the goods, contact the store administration. Threaten that if the spoiled product is not exchanged for you, you will take it to the sanitary and epidemiological station. If a conversation with the store administration does not yield results, do so - take the expired goods to the sanitary and epidemiological service. Write a statement that on such and such a date, in such and such a store you purchased a certain product, and later found that it was expired. Describe in detail when you came to the store, with whom you talked, what results you achieved. Attach your purchase receipt and the expired item to your application. The Sanitary Epidemiological Station will be obliged to take action on your letter.
Step 6
Another instance to which you can turn for help is the consumer protection society. They consider absolutely all cases of cheating customers - be it food, household goods, clothing or something else. Just as for the sanitary and epidemiological station, write a letter to the chairman of the society detailing your problem, attach a receipt and the product itself to it. After that, employees of the society with your letter will go to the point of sale and deal with your offenders. Explain to sellers the rights and obligations of consumers and make you return money for the goods.
