Parker pens are renowned all over the world for their high quality and classic design. As well as being an attribute of prestige, they are ideal for everyday use as well. They are easy to refill with the ability to use ink capsules, a reversible refill system or bubble ink.
Instructions
Step 1
Refilling the handle with rotary filler
Unscrew the sleeve. Rotate the plunger down to force air out of the ink reservoir and create a vacuum. To prevent air from entering the filler, completely immerse the pen in the vial and screw the plunger back all the way. Never dip the filler itself into the ink. Remove the nib from the ink bottle, turn the plunger and release a few drops. Screw the piston back all the way. Thus, a small amount of air will enter the tank. This will help prevent ink from leaking out. After cleaning the pen, you can continue to use the pen.
Step 2
Handle refill with slider piston filler
Push the lever on the side to move the piston. Submerge the nib completely in the ink bottle. To create a vacuum, push the lever down. Lift the lever up to suck in ink. Remove the nib, release a few drops of ink, and lift the lever all the way up. Then clean the nib. A piece of metal present in the ink reservoir is a component of the refilling system. You do not need to delete it.
Step 3
For the very best pens, there are color-coded ink capsules. They are equipped with a reserve tank or additional ink supply that allows you to write about a page of text. When the cartridge is empty, click on the end of the cartridge to release additional ink.
Step 4
To replace an empty capsule with a new one, remove the cap from the handle and unscrew the sleeve from the top of the body. Remove the empty capsule and insert the new one wide end first. Push the capsule gently inward. When punctured, a click should be heard. Screw the sleeve back into place.
