School and later student years for many were overshadowed by a huge amount of information that needed to be memorized. For some it was easier, for some it was harder, but all conscientious students spent a lot of time reading books. However, memorizing a lot of material can be made easier.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the optimal time to learn new information. For most people, this is the period from eight to ten in the morning, as well as from eight to eleven in the evening. Depending on your daily routine, the peaks in activity may shift. By observing yourself, you yourself will quickly find the time when it is easiest for you to teach.
Step 2
Oftentimes, students are unable to memorize material because they are unable to concentrate on it. In the absence of iron willpower, you better find a room where nothing will distract you from the textbook, and ask your family not to bother you until you are finished. Remove fiction, discs, souvenirs from your desktop - anything that your brain might find more interesting than preparing for class.
Step 3
Divide all the material into several parts. It is difficult to "cram" into yourself a huge amount of new information at once. Taking short breaks after memorizing individual chapters will help things go much faster.
Step 4
Free memorization is subdivided into mechanical cramming and logical comprehension of the material. If, after reading a chapter of the tutorial, it seems to you that you did not understand anything, try explaining the information received to someone (friend, dog, plush toy). When explaining the material to an ignorant person, you will choose the easiest formulations. Everything that seemed complicated and confusing to you will become easy to understand.
Step 5
Define for yourself the "storage time" of the memorized material. The material you memorized just to pass the exam will be forgotten by you in a couple of days. If you understand that you need this knowledge in the future, what you have learned will be preserved for many years.
Step 6
Repetition is the mother of learning. After you have memorized all the material, skim through it and repeat after forty minutes. Then read the topic again the next day. Now you can be sure that this knowledge will stay with you for a long time.
