Step 1
Cut roses are best kept in a ceramic vase. This container does not allow light to pass through. Water stays fresher longer, as light is the main cause of putrefactive processes in water. It is not recommended to place the vase in direct sunlight. They will quickly heat the water, the rose will begin to wither. In addition, a little of any bactericidal substance can be added to the vessel. Then the water will stay fresh longer. The addition of nutrients is also recommended. Sugar and vinegar serve as them. For one liter of water - 1 tablespoon of vinegar or 20-30 grams of sugar.
Step 2
Before you put the roses in the vase, you need to cut off the leaves that will come into contact with the water. Then it is necessary to cut the stems of roses at an inclined angle of 2-3 cm. In order to avoid air getting into a fresh cut, it is recommended to cut directly in the water. Then the cut site needs to be split a little so that the flowers absorb the liquid better.
Step 3
The water at the rose needs to be changed often, it is even better to do it every day. The container must be washed with warm water and soap every time. Thanks to this, slippery deposits on the walls of the dishes will disappear. Then the vase must be rinsed with running cold water. After that, you can pour a new one, preferably settled.
Step 4
The flower also needs to be processed. It is recommended to wash the barrel to get rid of putrefactive bacteria. Carefully cut off the withered leaves. With the bud facing down, rinse it lightly from the shower. This will refresh the rose. The pressure should be weak so as not to damage the delicate petals.
Step 5
When the rose nevertheless begins to fade a little, then pour cool water into the bath and place the flower there overnight. Only the stem should submerge in the water, place the bud above the water level. In the morning, trim the stems again as described in step two. Place the flower in fresh water.
