Clocks can be completely different - mechanical or electronic, wrist or wall clocks, large or very small. In any case, they must show their owner the exact time.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out the exact time that you will display on your watch.
Step 2
If you are setting the time on a quartz watch, pull out the winding wheel on the side of the dial until you hear a second click. Please note that this action must be performed when the second hand on the clock is at the number twelve.
Step 3
Begin to turn the wheel so that the hand moves clockwise to the required time.
Step 4
Position the hand so that it shows five minutes longer than the actual time.
Step 5
Move the arrow slightly back to the position that will indicate real time.
Step 6
Return the winding wheel of the mechanism to its original position. Please note that at this moment the second hand should start moving.
Step 7
In mechanical watches, to set the exact time, place the crown of the winding mechanism in the extreme position until it clicks.
Step 8
Begin to rotate the crown counterclockwise (that is, towards you). Set the required time indicators in this way.
Step 9
Return the crown to its original position until it clicks, thus setting the second hand in motion.
Step 10
To set the time on the digital clock, use the corresponding buttons - this is the Mode button and the Set button. Use the first button to select the required mode, and the second button to change the values. After setting the time, press and hold the Mode button for a while - the clock will come into action and will show the correct set time.
