Nowadays, electronic tickets have practically "survived" the classic paper ones. This is convenient, since an electronic ticket can be purchased without leaving home, it is impossible to lose it, and finally, you do not need to have it with you at registration - a passport for which this ticket is issued is enough. However, when going on a trip, it still makes sense to print out and take with you an e-ticket form, as it contains a lot of useful information.

Instructions

Step 1

The key elements of an e-ticket are as follows:

1. The name of the passenger. This column contains the name of the passenger for whom this ticket is issued. The passenger's name is indicated in Latin letters, even if you are traveling in Russia.

Step 2

2. Airline for which the ticket was issued.

Step 3

3. Name and location (city name and country code) of the agency that issued the ticket. If you purchased your ticket directly from an airline, the name and location of the airline will be shown.

Step 4

4. The code of the reservation on the basis of which the ticket was issued. Also, next to the reservation code or under it, the number of the e-ticket itself may be indicated.

Step 5

5. Passenger's passport number. Please note that not all airlines provide this information on the e-ticket form.

Step 6

6. Date of birth of the passenger. The same remark applies to this point as well.

Step 7

7. Date of issue of the ticket. This information can be indicated elsewhere, for example, at the very top of an electronic ticket.

Step 8

8. City of departure (FROM) and city of arrival (TO). Next to the name of the city, as a rule, the name of the airport and the terminal are indicated, if the airport has several.

Step 9

9. Flight number. Typically, a flight number consists of an airline code and a flight numerical designation.

Step 10

10. Booking class. The usual codes for booking classes are as follows: F, P, A - first class; J, C, D, I, Z - business class; W, S, Y, B, H, K, L, M, N, Q, T, V, X - economy class.

Step 11

11. Date and time of departure. Also, the date of arrival may be indicated here. Keep in mind that the time of departure and arrival on the air ticket is always indicated local - you need to know this in order not to miss your plane if you carelessly.

Step 12

12. Free baggage allowance. This information is not always indicated on an electronic ticket, so it makes sense to check the free baggage allowance on the airline's website or through the airline's help desk. Please note that free baggage allowance may vary from airline to airline.

Step 13

13. Detailed calculation of the points that make up the ticket price (FARE - fare, TAX - various taxes: fuel, airport taxes, and so on).

Step 14

14. The total cost of the air ticket. This amount, like the numbers in paragraph 13, is indicated in the currency in which the ticket price was calculated on the airline's website.

Step 15

15. The size of the tariff in rubles. This item is not present on all e-tickets; in particular, if you purchased a ticket from a foreign airline, you will not be provided with its cost in rubles.

Step 16

Finally, under all these information items there is a paragraph with notes, as a rule, containing various kinds of warnings, for example, as in the picture, a warning that the baggage allowance for different airlines may be different.
