Ordinary numbers sometimes look boring, but you want to make them more spectacular, stylize antique or decorate with floral ornaments. Make them a single element of the whole image or just highlight them in the text. You can write beautiful numbers in different ways.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are writing by hand, but you are not sure about the legibility of your handwriting, use a stencil. Stencils are made on a separate sheet or on a certain type of ruler (two in one). Place the stencil on the sheet so that the numbers are located on the desired line (in the right place on the sheet) and fill in the free field inside the number with a pencil (pen, marker).
Step 2
If you work on a computer, there are more possibilities. There are many font styles that make numbers look very attractive. On the Internet, on sites dedicated to working in graphic editors, you can download either individual fonts or entire collections. To make the downloaded font available in the graphics editor, place it in the desired folder.
Step 3
To do this, unpack the archive with fonts (if you downloaded files in.zip,.rar and so on). Copy all the font files (they have the.ttf and.otf extensions) to the clipboard. From the Start menu enter the Control Panel. If the panel is displayed by category, select Appearance and Themes, in a new window on the right side under See also”click on“Fonts”. If the "Control Panel" has a classic look, select the "Fonts" icon right away.
Step 4
In the window that opens, you will see a list of already installed fonts. Paste the downloaded fonts from the clipboard into this folder and close the window. Launch a graphics editor, open a document (or create a new one), select the "Type" tool, enter the numbers you want, and then just apply the style of any font from the collection to them.
Step 5
Another way is to enter numbers and decorate them with vignettes, flowers, patterns (whatever comes to your mind). For this, it is convenient to use ready-made brushes. Using Adobe Photoshop as an example: download ready-made brushes from disk or from the Internet. Unpack them into a separate folder.
Step 6
The brushes have a.abr extension. Start the graphics editor and make the "Brush" tool active. In the top menu bar for this tool, expand the brush library and click on the arrow button located on the right side of the expanded window. In the drop-down menu, select the item "Load brushes" - a new dialog box will open. Specify the path to the folder with brushes, select the required file with the.abr extension and click the "Open" button.
Step 7
Next, select the downloaded brush and style the numbers as you see fit. Apply different effects and styles, don't be limited by your imagination. To avoid unnecessary mistakes and painful editing, style your numbers on a new layer. To create a new layer, click in the Layers field on the folded sheet icon.
