Necessary
- - salt;
- - detergent;
- - cologne, acetone or alcohol;
- - napkin or cotton wool;
- - baking soda;
- - lemon juice;
- - any alcohol-containing solution;
- - ammonia;
- - turpentine;
- - liquid for nail polish remover without acetone
Instructions
Step 1
If ink gets on a leather item, take half a glass of water and add a tablespoon of salt and a drop of detergent to it. It should definitely foam. Apply the prepared solution to the ink stain and wait until it dries. After that, gently wipe it off with a slightly damp sponge or tissue.
Step 2
Use cologne, acetone, or rubbing alcohol. Simply dab it on a tissue or cotton pad and wipe the stain. If you cannot wipe it off immediately, repeat the procedure by replacing the cotton pad with a new one.
Step 3
Take some baking soda and sprinkle it over the stain. Then put a few drops of lemon juice on it. As a result of this procedure, the stain will completely disappear. This method is only suitable for undyed leather products.
Step 4
Use an alcohol-based solution to remove ink stains from a leather bag or jacket. Moisten a clean cloth with it and gently wipe the dirty area. This procedure is completely harmless to stained items and perfectly removes fresh stains.
Step 5
Mix baking soda and ammonia (a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of alcohol). Moisten the resulting solution with a clean napkin or a piece of cotton wool and rub the stain well.
Step 6
Cover the stained area with wet salt, the thicker the layer, the better. Leave it on for a couple of days. After the time has passed, shake off the salt and wipe the skin with a cloth or a sponge dipped in turpentine.
Step 7
You can use nail polish remover to remove ink stains. It is very important that it does not contain acetone, otherwise you may end up with another instead of one stain. Moisten a piece of cotton with liquid, gently wipe the dirt with it and wait until the skin is completely dry.
