Scientists have calculated that the lifespan of stars with the same mass and luminosity as the Sun is about 10 billion years, and its lifetime since its inception is already 5 billion. The Earth was formed after 400 million years. In the process of gaining mass from the protoplanetary cloud, this happened for a billion years, until the so-called "big bombardment" ended and the Earth gained mass. In a sense, the bombardment is taking place even now, only now with relatively small meteorites. The last known meteorite of significant mass fell to Earth 65 million years ago - it destroyed the dinosaurs.
Step 2
During the existence of the planet, it was in various states - from an ocean of liquid lava to a completely ice ball; it is possible that this will repeat itself in the distant future. Perhaps even the time will come, and the Earth will be all alone in the icy space of space. Scientists have already identified such "lonely planets", one of which was named CFBDSIR2149 and was found using the powerful ESO telescope. For some reason, these planets leave their parent stars during formation or at the end of the star's lifespan. Now scientists are studying them.
Step 3
If it was possible that people could live under any circumstances, then it would be possible to imagine the Earth in such a role. Imagine waking up one morning and finding out in the morning that there was no sunrise. Thanks to the atmosphere, the temperature still holds like an ordinary night, and gradually decreases rapidly during the day, the ascending currents of the still warm air support the clouds, but soon the sub-zero temperature makes them fall out in the form of snow or ice. Due to the excessively large temperature difference, air masses will begin to move at great speed from high pressure zones to low pressure zones. Moreover, these ice hurricanes will sweep away and raze everything in their path.
Step 4
Rivers, seas and oceans will flood the plains to the level of the hills and freeze. Gradually, the temperature will drop to such an extent that the atmosphere will freeze too. The wind will stop, as well as all other processes that have taken place. And then the complete icy silence of outer space will come on Earth. And over time, falling meteorites and meteors that previously burned up in the atmosphere will leave traces that resemble craters on the surface of the moon.

But such a future of the Earth should not frighten humanity. Much earlier, by the time the Sun begins to fade away, people will already find themselves a comfortable world, maybe even better, in other parts of the Universe. After all, the Universe is infinite, like the mind, which, apparently, will provide the human race with a new life.
