Sanitary legislation also provides for the procedure for conducting inspections on compliance with sanitary rules, their frequency and the administrative persons who carry them out.

How and what the sanitary station checks in kindergartens

During the inspection, the cleanliness of the rooms where the children stay, the presence of dust, debris, the condition of furniture, toys, bedding and toiletries are assessed. Educators and nannies are required to undergo regular medical examinations, and data on their health status and the absence of diseases dangerous for children must be entered into individual sanitary books.

In kindergarten food blocks, sanitary station employees also assess the cleanliness of the room, kitchen and dining utensils, check the order and technology of food preparation, the calorie content of dishes, the compliance of indicators with the norms established by nutritionists, and the implementation of hygiene standards by kitchen workers. In addition, they carry out sampling of biological material and washings from hands, the analysis of which reveals the presence of dangerous microorganisms and viral diseases and cooks, dishwashers and technicians, service personnel.

It is imperative that the documentation for food products is checked in the kitchen, the rules for their storage, including in refrigerators and in warehouses, are followed. The duties of the representatives of the sanitary station also include checking how the documents reflecting the flow of food are kept, the availability of special equipment for cleaning all premises of the institution and the overalls of employees is monitored.

What is the punishment for violation of sanitary standards in kindergarten

For violation of sanitary and hygienic standards in kindergarten, the legislation provides for punishment of the guilty persons.

The minimum punishment involves the imposition of a monetary fine in the amount established by the relevant article of the law. Minor violations will result in a monetary penalty in the amount of 500 to 30,000 rubles. Serious violations, which entailed harm to the health or death of the pupil, also provide for criminal punishment.
