A lawsuit was filed with the metropolitan prosecutor's office of France by a resident of Paris, it is addressed to a French celebrity - Gerard Depardieu. A capital resident accuses the actor of assault: according to the victim, Depardieu beat him in one of the central narrow streets of Paris.
The reason for what happened was a banal showdown after an accident, the participants of which were Gerard Depardieu and the same capital resident who suffered at the hands of the star. On August 15, 2012, the actor was riding a motorcycle and collided with a car. As a result of the beginning of a verbal showdown, a fight broke out.
According to the driver of the car, Gerard Depardieu provoked the accident. The actor himself did not deny it and admitted that he got a little excited. At the same time, he noticed that if his persona was not so popular, then a lawsuit would not have been filed in court.
It is worth noting that such judicial precedents are not so rare in the life of the famous French actor.
