Necessary

  • - purchase and sale agreement (donation agreement, general power of attorney, certificate of the right to inheritance);
  • - technical passport for the boat;
  • - technical passport for the motor;
  • - the passport;
  • - TIN certificate;
  • - a receipt for payment of the state duty.

Instructions

Step 1

Contact the department of the State Inspection for Small Vessels (GIMS) at your place of residence to register an inflatable boat no later than ten days from the date of its purchase, donation or inheritance. Check the amount of the state fee, which depends on the type of vessel.

Step 2

Take the GIMS receipts for payment of the state duty for registering the boat. It can be paid at any branch of Sberbank.

Step 3

Show the following documents to the inspector of the State Inspection Service of the Russian Federation: - purchase and sale agreement (donation agreement, general power of attorney, certificate of inheritance); - technical passport for the boat; - technical passport for the motor; - passport; - TIN certificate; - receipt of payment of state duty …

Step 4

In addition, you will need to bring a boat and a motor for inspection. If, for any reason, the transportation of the vessel is inconvenient, the inspector can leave for inspection for a separate fee. In some cases, the technical documents presented are sufficient.

Step 5

Fill out the inflatable boat registration application form and receive a completed Ship Inspection Report by the inspector. On the appointed day, go to the GIMS for a ship ticket and side numbers for the boat. The registration period is from seven calendar days.

Step 6

If you do not have a ship's license to operate a boat, take a shipping training course, which usually lasts a month and a half. Take the exam at GIMS upon completion. After that, you will be given a license to drive the boat.

Step 7

Mark the side numbers on the hull of the boat. They should be contrasting and legible. To do this, use indelible paint and thick paper stencils. The paint is applied with a swab or from an aerosol can.

Step 8

Alternatively, cut out the numbers and letters of the side number from the self-adhesive film using a ruler and scalpel, having previously marked them with a pencil. Before applying the film, the surface of the boat must be degreased. You can apply side numbers with a regular marker, but in this case they will have to be tinted from time to time.

Step 9

Complete the inflatable boat according to the entries on the ship's ticket. Pass a technical inspection, get a MOT coupon and a mark on the ship's ticket. After that, you can set sail.
