Step 1
Decide right away: you will draw up a power of attorney for one day or for a certain period. A one-time power of attorney from one natural person to another usually does not require certification from a notary. A power of attorney from a legal entity to an individual most likely requires certification from a notary. In addition, it must be necessarily signed by the head of the organization and stamped.
Step 2
Draw up the power of attorney itself. The text should look something like the following. At the top of the sheet is written the word “power of attorney. Below it is the date and place of issue of the document. Further information about the principal and who is trusted to receive the parcel. For example: “I, citizen Ivan Ivanovich Ivanovich, passport (number, series, when and by whom issued), residing at the address (zip code, city, street, house, apartment) authorize citizen Ivanova Maria Yurievna with this power of attorney, passport (number, series, when and by whom it was issued), residing at the address (zip code, city, street, house, apartment) to receive the parcel at (name of the post office), and take all actions related to the implementation of this order. The power of attorney is valid for a period of (1 year or we write a specific date of receipt of the parcel).
Next comes the full surname, name, patronymic of the principal, his signature.
Step 3
If you plan to use such a power of attorney on a permanent basis, it must be certified by a notary. This is an inexpensive service. But the visit to the notary is carried out by the principal. So, time is wasted. Moreover, it is not a free service. It may still be easier for you to go and receive the package yourself.
