Instructions
Step 1
Before starting the exercises, create the conditions so that nothing distracts your attention. Turn off your phone and warn your family that you will be busy for the next half hour, it is better not to disturb you.
Step 2
Stand up, pick up your watch and try to direct your attention to the second hand, watching it slowly move in a circle. Try not to blink. Give up everything and focus only on the hand of the clock. Here and now, the only thing that exists for you is the arrow. Imagine that you have turned into an arrow and observe your trajectory from the side. At first, it may be difficult to concentrate as you may be distracted by various thoughts. However, remember: you are an arrow, and arrows cannot think.
Step 3
Start this exercise for 2-3 minutes and then work up to 10-15 minutes a day. You will soon feel an unusual effect during the exercise. A focused state in which there are no thoughts, filled with relaxation. At the same time, your attention is not distracted for a split second and does not lose sight of the arrow, you plunge into a trance.
Step 4
Draw a black dot on a white piece of paper and start focusing on it in the same way as on the arrow. Let this point symbolize all your affairs and problems. Cover any thought that enters your consciousness with this dot. Try to relax the muscles of the body, face. Soon you will also reach the state of thoughtlessness.
Step 5
Stand in front of a mirror, draw a dot on the bridge of your nose with a black pencil and direct all your attention to it. Try to stand still and not blink. Look at the point with concentration, as if you are drawing strength from it. After completing the previous exercises, it will be easy enough for you. The exercise is best done in the morning, right after waking up. Start with 5 minutes and add 60 seconds each day, bringing the duration of the exercise to 10-15 minutes.
