Look at the right half of the ID, where the division is written in red on top. In this ID, you will see "Ministry of Internal Affairs", "Department …" or "Office …". Check on the certificate there should also be a hologram on the signature, which few know about. Here is the coat of arms of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the text “Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.” The hologram is visible from any angle. The absence of a hologram is a sign of a fake ID.

To be sure of the authenticity of the ID, do not ignore a few more details. The serial number of the ID must be "Courier", not "Times". This font is the standard font for numbering machines. The contours of the numbers in this certificate are not very clear, and the inscriptions "service certificate", a series, inscriptions about weapons and special equipment, "chief (deputy)" are dimmer than the last name, first name, patronymic, rank and position, which are filled in the personnel department, and not printed in a printing house (unlike the inscriptions listed above).

Against the background of this certificate there is a shield, and not some coat of arms of the Moscow Main Internal Affairs Directorate. Under the lines with the inscriptions there is a micro font with the text "Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia".

Also, be sure to check that the photo on the left half is printed on the ID card by the printer and not pasted on top. In this regard, in this certificate, the edges of the picture often go beyond the "white field" for the photo.

Please note that the outer side of this certificate is decorated with the coat of arms of Russia and the inscription "Service certificate (new line) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia".
