After the necessary data has been prepared, you can proceed directly to the verification. To do this, you should visit the official website of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, which, right on the main page, offers drivers to use a number of online services. One of them is a necessary service in this case called "Checking Fines".
However, before clicking the desired button, make sure that the system correctly identified your region by the IP address of the computer from which you entered the network. If so, the name of your constituent entity of the Federation will be displayed in the upper right corner of the main page of the site: this means that the portal is currently connected to the traffic police database of your region, and the data provided to the user will be correct. If the displayed region does not correspond to reality, it must be changed by choosing the correct territory of your residence from the proposed list.
Having completed the necessary preparation, you can proceed directly to the check. To do this, go to the page of the online service "Checking fines" by clicking on the appropriate button on the main page. When the transition is completed, you will see a form in which you need to enter the previously prepared data - the state registration number of your car, the series and number of the vehicle registration certificate. In addition, you will need to enter the security code provided on the same page, which serves to protect the system from robots. Subsequent pressing of the "Request" button will bring up a pop-up window, which will provide information on whether or not you have fines for violation of traffic rules.
