the plot of the future scenario invented by you

Instructions

Step 1

Tell your story in 1, 5 - 3 pages. Your story, location and characters must be unique for a producer or editor to accept your application. Get ready for the fact that you will have to come up with many ideas, since the editor will not accept all your applications. Don't write your story long, you only need to tell the essence of the cartoon. Write down all your ideas in a separate notebook or notebook, perhaps they will be useful to you in the future.

Step 2

Don't complicate your application, it should be simple, especially for a cartoon. You should be aware of which cartoons people are interested in. Read magazines, watch the news, go to children's stores, ask your friends and family's kids what kind of movies they like. After your application is accepted, write a synopsis. But before you write your synopsis, design the episodes so you know exactly what you will be writing about.

Step 3

Don't do too many episodes, or the cartoon will seem fussy. In it, you need to paint the story in detail, describe each scene to the smallest detail. The synopsis already needs to be created in prosaic form. A half-hour episode usually consists of 15-25 scenes and 10-20 pages. Scenes, on average, last from 5 seconds to 3-4 minutes. In a detailed synopsis, dialogues are not written down, but if a good phrase or remark comes to your mind, it is better to include it in your story.

Step 4

After setting out the synopsis, proceed to writing the script itself. The script is your story, but created in a special way. Describe all the scenes of the cartoon and the dialogues. You must tell in detail about the characters themselves, describe their voice, housing, appearance, such details are necessary for animators. They need to know what exactly they need to draw. The script usually consists of 30-45 pages, its length depends on the length of the episode or the cartoon itself. A typical episode is 7, 11, or 22 minutes long.
