Uniform, or uniform (universal uniform), is clothing created specifically for any type of activity (training uniform, work uniform, etc.). All models of such clothes are identical in style, cut, color and differ only in size.
The exact date of the appearance of the first form is unknown. Historians claim that the prototype of the modern military uniform is found even among the ancient Romans. Identical uniforms made it possible to immediately distinguish a brother in arms from an enemy. Moreover, in the case of the ancient army, the form performed not only an identifying, but also a protective function. The legionnaires' armor was made of durable materials and protected the body from injury.
Later, the form became the property of civilian institutions. Today, many large firms have introduced a uniform uniform. It is designed to emphasize the unity of the team, belonging to a large cohesive team. In addition, the form helps to distinguish employees from strangers, and therefore more effectively ensure the safety of the company.
In large enterprises, a special uniform is necessary for safe work. In hazardous industries, a uniform made of particularly durable, moisture and heat-resistant fabric protects a person from harmful influences. And a special cut, made taking into account the specifics of the type of work (the presence of pockets, valves, etc.) allows the employee to always have everything he needs with him.
In educational institutions, dress code is intended, among other things, to ensure an atmosphere of equality among students. The financial level, the indicator of which is, first of all, clothing, is hidden by a universal and uniform form.
Depending on the field of application, the form can perform a number of additional functions. For example, a modern military uniform helps a soldier to camouflage himself in natural combat conditions. And the red uniform of the staff of the vip-class hotels emphasizes the high status of the institution.
The style of the form, as a rule, does not depend on the existing fashion. When creating such clothes, experts adhere to the classic silhouette and standard length of the product. And in a number of areas (for example, religious), the cut of the form has not changed at all since its inception.
