Wild boar hunting is the lot of experienced hunters who know well the habits of this cautious, strong and rather dangerous animal. However, the vast majority of them prefer to track down, watch for and shoot the wild boar. But there are also daredevils who are ready to catch him alive.
Instructions
Step 1
Hunting wild boar is fraught with serious danger, especially if the boar is injured. The enraged beast is capable of knocking down a hunter and inflicting serious injury on him with its huge sharp fangs. But this rarely happens, since wild boars have a phenomenal sense of great caution, sensing the presence of a person at a distance of half a kilometer.
Step 2
Use one of the hunting methods - with a dog. Legislation permits a maximum of two dogs to be used. Husks are better suited for this than other breeds. Without unnecessary noise and barking, they overtake the beast and rush at it. The hunter does the rest.
Step 3
Pod a wild boar in places of feeding with wild fruits. Take shelter in trees or in dug holes 15-20 paces from the boar trails on the leeward side. This method of hunting is common in the Caucasus and Central Asia.
Step 4
By the way, in the Caucasus, another method of hunting is practiced - in two groups, when one sits in ambush, and the other with dogs drives a wild boar on them. Wild boar is also caught using a loop made of a metal cable 2-3 mm thick. The loop is an ordinary noose, tied firmly to a tree and set on a boar trail. The loop length is from 3 to 5 meters. It is placed in such a way that the boar will get caught in it with its head. To do this, it is attached between two spears, and a bait is scattered near this place.
