Living in the forest is a systematic struggle for survival. Many people know the story of the hermits-Old Believers, the Lykovs, who of their own free will settled far from people in the deep taiga and were able not only to survive, but also to equip a small farm, fully providing themselves with food and everything necessary for life.
Instructions
Step 1
You can live in the forest temporarily or settle in it permanently. In any case, first of all, you will need a place to sleep and a shelter to shelter from the weather and protect yourself from wild animals.
Step 2
If you come to the forest for work, for example, to harvest firewood, medicinal herbs, mushrooms, berries, for temporary residence, you can build a hut from scrap materials or dig a dugout, which is more reliable in terms of shelter from wild animals. For permanent residence, a more durable home will be required. There is a lot of building material in the forest. In this case, it is not at all necessary to cut trees from the root. There is enough deadwood from which to build a reliable hut.
Step 3
An important task is food. For short-term work, you can take with you dry food, cereals, butter, tea, sugar, canned food, instant food. There will be enough provisions for a period of time.
Step 4
For permanent residence, provisions will have to be obtained. The forest is a treasure trove of healthy herbs that are good for human consumption and have great nutritional value. The forest lily, or locust, is a plant that contains a nutritious bulb suitable for human consumption. Fern grows almost everywhere, boiled, fried, baked, it is suitable for satisfying hunger. Mushrooms, berries, game - all these are the treasures of the forest that help the hermit who settled in the taiga to survive. Medicinal plants: licorice, elecampane, plantain, pine needles will help restore the lack of vitamins and recharge. In summer, all food can be eaten fresh, but do not forget to make preparations for the winter by drying mushrooms, berries and herbs.
Step 5
To systematically be provided with food, you can develop a small area, clearing it of snags and grass, sow wheat or plant a small town. To preserve vegetables, it is enough to dig out a cellar or an underground floor in an equipped hut.
