It is important in determining the weather and how the sun rises. If you see a gentle light pink dawn, and the light is blinding white, there will be no rain. The sun rising in the fog indicates that the day will be quiet and sultry.
Go out to the balcony at night and look at the moon, if it is sharply outlined and shines with snow-white light, do not expect rain in the morning. But the greenish color of the night star should alert you, there is a possibility of severe drought.
