A well-organized driver's seat is a prerequisite for a comfortable and safe ride. Sometimes, especially during long-term operation of the car, the panel on which the control devices are located begins to creak. This sound tires the driver and makes it difficult to concentrate on the road.

Instructions
Step 1
Disassemble the torpedo. To do this, first disconnect the power supply wires, after marking them or sketching the position of the connectors. If necessary, remove the ashtray and storage box, and disconnect the hazard warning light switch. For convenience, use a long, thin screwdriver when removing.
Step 2
Also disconnect the radio and the on-board computer (if any), as well as the ventilation grill. Disconnect the light bulb wires.
Step 3
Using a screwdriver, remove the screws holding the panel trim. Typically, such fasteners are provided on both the driver's side and the passenger's side. In some cases, you will need a miniature screwdriver to unscrew the mount at an angle to the surface.
Step 4
After removing the fasteners, pull the panel towards you and remove it from its place. When disassembling, be careful not to damage the stops on the panel. Remove the dismantled torpedo from the passenger compartment.
Step 5
The places where the plastic panel comes into contact with all parts of the interior structure, thoroughly clean from dirt, wipe with a clean cloth and coat with waterproof glue. As an alternative to glue, use special velcro pads, which can be obtained from your specialist auto shop.
Step 6
After the first layer of glue has dried, repeat the procedure and reinstall the panel in its original place. Press down on the torpedo, screwing it securely with self-tapping screws. Install all previously removed structural elements included in the panel. Connect the wires of the lighting fixtures and power supply, guided by the pre-drawn connection diagram.
Step 7
When installing, pay special attention to the accuracy of the panel in place. As a rule, after carrying out such prophylaxis, the unpleasant creak disappears.
