The fans installed in the system unit must be periodically cleaned and lubricated. If this is not done, then the devices to which these coolers are attached may overheat and deteriorate.

Instructions
Step 1
Install the Speccy program first. It displays the temperature of devices on which special sensors are installed. Find equipment that is overheating. Turn off your computer and open the system unit. Be sure to disconnect the PC from the mains beforehand.
Step 2
Find the cooler you need to clean. Unscrew a few screws to remove the fan from the device to which it is attached. Disconnect the cable from the cooler to the motherboard or other hardware. Remove the fan.
Step 3
Now remove the sticker located in the center of the cooler blades. Remove the plastic cover from the slot, if there is one. Using tweezers, carefully remove the plastic ring from the axis of rotation of the blades. There will be a rubber gasket under it. Take it out.
Step 4
Now wipe the fan blades with a cotton pad soaked in a mild alcohol solution. Apply a small amount of silicone grease or machine oil to the hole where the pivot pin is inserted. Lubricate the axle itself.
Step 5
To assemble the cooler, install the blades on the rotation axis. Slide the rubber seal over it. Replace the retaining ring to prevent the blades from coming off. Install the plastic plug.
Step 6
Reattach the cooler. Screw it on with the screws. Connect the power cable to the socket where it previously fit. Turn on your computer and run the Speccy program. Make sure the temperature of the desired device is within the normal range.
Step 7
If it is still too high, then install the SpeedFan program. Start it, find the required fan and increase the rotation speed of its blades by pressing the "Up" button several times. Make sure that the speed obtained is sufficient for stable cooling of the device.
