The All-Russian Classifier of Enterprises and Organizations, or the OKPO code, is the main one in the state information systems of Rosstat. You can find out the OKPO code in several ways.

Step 1
Please note that the OKPO code is usually obtained by individual entrepreneurs, representative offices, branches, organizations that operate without forming a legal entity. Knowing this classifier, you will be able to obtain data from enterprises, in particular, information from balance sheets. Extracts are provided 15 minutes after the request for any organization in Russia.
Step 2
If you know the TIN of the enterprise, then you can find out OKPO. To do this, go to the website of the Federal Tax Service at the link https://egrul.nalog.ru/fns/index.php, enter the company's TIN in the special field, you will see its address. Further, by calling the district administration, you can get the OKPO code
Step 3
Go to the site skrin.ru, enter the name of the organization in the special field, an information map of this company will open. Among other data, you will see the screen code - this will be the OKPO code.
Step 4
Try to contact the territorial branch of Rosstat in your region with an application for the issuance of an information letter. To do this, you will need the following documents: passport, certificate of registration of individual entrepreneur, TIN number. In about 5 days, depending on the region in which your company is registered, you will be able to obtain the necessary data.
Step 5
Contact the central office of the Federal Tax Service of your region with an application for an extract from the unified state register of legal entities. Within 5 working days you will be able to receive documents in person or a few days later by mail.
Step 6
Find out what is the type of activity of the enterprise, the OKPO code of which you need. Then call the Rosstat department or look on the Internet which classifier corresponds to this type of activity.
Step 7
Open the enterprise accounting forms. The OKPO code will appear in the upper right corner.
